What is All on 4?

All on Four treatment is a procedure that allows a fixed prosthesis to be made on 4 implants placed at different angles with a single surgical intervention on the same day for patients who do not have any teeth or whose existing teeth need to be extracted. It has less number of sessions required so it is planned individually and can be preferred by patients residing in other cities or countries.

How is All on 4 Performed?

In the All on Four treatment, an appointment is made on the date as patient wants and radiological and clinical examinations are performed. Examinations are made with computerized tomography and a special treatment is planned for the patient according to the structure of the mouth and jaw. In All on Four implant treatment, if the patient still has a few teeth in her/his mouth, the teeth are removed under local anesthesia before proceeding with the treatment. 4 implants are placed on the gums at different angles and dental prostheses are attached to them. Since this procedure will be performed under local anesthesia, no pain is felt during the procedure. After the implant area heals, teeth are placed on it and the treatment is terminated.

What are the Stages of All on 4 Treatment?

• An appointment is made on the date as the patient wants, the patient’s mouth and jaw structure is detected by radiological imaging and measurements.
• When the procedure begins, the area is numbed with local anesthesia. The patient does not feel any pain during the procedure. If the patient feels severe fear about this issue, she/he can request sedation or general anesthesia from the doctor.
